Engineer Hersi Said has been elected as the new President of the Yanga Sports Club after a yes vote from members of the general meeting held on Saturday, July 09, 2022
Hersi who was elected on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the club's general meeting was the only candidate for the presidency.
Chairman of the Election Committee, Advocate Ally Mchungahela has stated that in accordance with Article 23 (9) of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) election regulations if there is a single candidate, the General Meeting should approve the candidate's resolution to become President
So the members of the general meeting voted openly, and the chairman of the election committee, Mchungahela announced Eng. Hersi to be the official President of the Young Africans sports club
The General Meeting members have also elected Mr. Arafat Haji as Vice President of the Young Africans Sports Club
Also, elected members of the Yanga Executive Committee are Makanga, Seif Khamis Gulamali, Rogers Gumbo, Munir Seleman, and Alexander Ngai
